【第2梯次】外籍師資全英語教學培訓認證課程 (報名已截止)

Native English-speaking Teachers on Reserve Wanted

The College of English and International Studies at Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages are seeking 10 native English-speaking teachers on reserve. If accepted, a 32-hour English as medium instruction training program and an EMI teacher certificate will be offered from Aug. to Oct. Candidates who have completed and passed the certificate exam would be placed to teach in elementary schools in Kaohsiung. Candidates would sign a teaching contract with the Kaohsiung City Government—Education Bureau as full-time or part-time English teachers for 2020-2021 academic year depending on the qualifications. 

Working place: Public schools in Kaohsiung City area.

Requirements:

1. Nationalities from English-as-the-official language or English-speaking areas and countries, including but not limit to Canada, UK, USA, Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

2. Bachelor degree holders or above

3. Have APRC or marriage ARC

4. A valid of teaching certificate is required for those who do not own APRC or marriage ARC

Starting: From now until June 30, 2020

Admission notification & program fees:

This program is fully funded by the Education Bureau of Kaohsiung City Government (KCG) to provide training for foreign teachers. However, applicants are required to pay the deposit to guarantee their willingness and responsibility to assist the Education Bureau of KCG to teach in public schools in Kaohsiung.

After reviewing the enrollment list, we will notify the accepted applicants in mid-July, 2020. The accepted applicants must pay NT$10,000 as deposit by a remittance for guaranteeing his/her willingness and responsibility to assist Education Bureau to teach in public schools in Kaohsiung arranged by the Kaohsiung City Government and send the transaction record and the signed agreement to college.english@mail.wzu.edu.tw by July 24th (Friday), 2020.

Deposit refund policy:

The deposit is refundable only if the participants who pass the accreditation and are employed by the Kaohsiung City Government to teach in a public school in Kaohsiung. Please send a copy of the teaching contract for refund.

If you are interested, please send your (1) resume, (2) the proof of diploma and (3) ARC; (4) teaching certificate in valid to the College of English and International Studies to college.english@mail.wzu.edu.tw by June 30, 2020.

An interview will be scheduled.

文藻外大英語暨國際學院擬招募十位儲備外籍國小英語教學人員，入選後於109年8-10月由文藻外大提供32小時面授全英語教師培訓課程，並安排全英語師資認證考試。認證通過後，依照教師專業程度聘用為兼任(時薪)或專任(月薪)教師，將與高雄市教育局簽約，自109學年度起分發至各國小教授英語。

工作地點: 大高雄地區公立國小

條件：

1. 英語系國家或英語為官方語言國家或地區之外籍人士(含: 英國、美國、菲律賓、澳洲、紐西蘭、新加坡及香港等)

2. 需大學畢業以上。

3. 持有依親或持有永久居留證。

4. 若無依親或永久居留證，須持有原國籍地之有效教師證。

需求人數：10名

招募期間: 自即日起至109年06月30日止

注意事項：
1. 本計畫由高雄市教育局補助，通過審核之學員需繳交培訓保證金及簽屬授課義務同意書，認證成功後須配合教育局媒合分發至本市學校受聘(詳如附件)
2. 第二梯次將於7月中通知入選名單，學員需於7/24前繳交保證金及授課義務同意書。(將會個別發信通知)
